Question: My playstation 2 game won't play.?

I just bought the Avatar: The burning earth game, and my ps2 won't load it. i know the ps2 works, because i play other games on it. and i just got the game cleaned, and scratches removed from it a bit ago. So any ideas why it won't work? |

Possibly heat damage to the disc, Some PS2s that havent been cleaned in awhile can get choosy about what they will and wont play |

That's what happened with my Guitar Hero. It wasn't scratched at all, but it wouldn't load. Try some YouTube videos. If you type in "Fix CD Scratches, " there's a guy on there that tells you how to use household items to fix it such as: toothpaste, soda, peanut butter, baking soda, and a rag. It looks like it has a lot of scratches afterward, but it really did make my disk work. Hope I could help. :) |

Going out on a whim here, idk but if the game is made by Rockstar, then it's the game company not the disk. Rockstar games are fun, but a huge pain to deal with. If it was pre-owned and you got the scratches removed, it still may not make a difference, there are reasons why people trade in games. I.E. the don't work any more. you may have just got a bad copy, return it. |

Hold it up to a lite with the cover facing towards you check if any lights come through if so that may be you problem no matter how many scratches you take off if there are still wholes you wont be able to play it |
